Common Heating Systems
Combi boilers
An all in one space saving box, great for smaller properties with one bathroom.
Storage combi boilers
Usually larger in size than a standard combi, a space saving alternative to a system boiler with an unvented cylinder, a storage combi can supply multiple bathrooms with an inbuilt unvented cylinder.
Heat only boilers
These simply heat the system water and are commonly sited in a different location from the airing cupboard where these hot water cylinder and controls are commonly located. Due to the controls being external from the boiler, these systems offer the least scope for energy efficiency. There are hot water priority kits available for these boilers however which improves efficiency.
System Boilers
Similar to heat only boilers however these incorporate the pump, expansion vessel, controls and in 4 pipe system boilers include diverter valves. This gives much more scope for energy efficiency as hot water priority can be set up. Perfect for larger domestic properties with multiple heating heating zones.
Boiler Brands
Alpha
Alpha is the more affordable brand which we offer, best for combi boilers for those on a budget, alpha boilers are a great choice for those who want a new boiler with high efficiency capabilities, basic weather compensation which must be used with a programmable thermostat. Alpha boilers can modulate as low as 4.3kW which is great for range rating to your properties heat loss. We can offer 7 to 13 years manufacturers warranty depending on model and extras.
Viessmann
Viessmann is the more advanced brand we install, best for storage combi boilers, 4 pipe system boilers in conjunction with unvented cylinders, and hot water priority heat only boilers. Top of the range Viessmann boilers can run solely on weather compensation and be controlled on their ViCare app. With the ability to modulate as low as 1.9kw Viessmann is a head above the rest. We offer 5 years manufacturers warranty as standard with the ability to extend to 12 years depending on model and charge.
